Positive: We had a great week with Alison and Danny (and all the animals) at their homestay! Alison helped us with getting our IRD Numbers, opening a bank account, and searching for a vehicle. She was also helpful with general knowledge, tips, etc. Danny is a very funny guy and fun to talk to as well, especially about movies. We also got along with all the other guests staying at the house -- playing card games every night! Thank you Alison and Danny for providing a warm, inviting, and supportive space for travelers like us. P.S. Be sure to sign their guest book! Oh and it's probably not a bad idea to rent a car from the airport while you're there -- we used "rental cars 24/7"
